IRT wants to uplift diverse faith voices and perspectives through the “Faith Stories” new initiative. These Faith stories will allow us to connect, build relationships of mutual trust, and advance interfaith understanding in the public sphere. Come, listen, talk, and explore the stories of diverse faith community members of all religious backgrounds.
Join us as we delve deep into the faith story of Paul Harrison (Baha’i Faith) and how his Baha’i faith traditions and practices shaped his perspectives and journey in life.
Guest:
Paul Harrisonis a retired electrician. Although he grew up in a Baha’i family, he drifted away in his teens. He re-discovered his faith in his 30’s and has been very active for the last few decades.
Paul is a husband and a father. He and his wife Susan have two children, a 27-year-old son and a 21-year-old daughter. Paul is also a musician. He offers guitar lessons, plays in bands, and composes music, mostly setting the Baha’i writings to music. Lastly, Paul is a member of the 12-step community. He has been clean & sober for 36 years.
