WHO WE ARE

The Interfaith Round Table of Washtenaw County is a spiritually based alliance of people from across the spectrum of faith who come together to address our commonalities and explore issues with the potential to be divisive. Our intention is to illuminate places where there are misconceptions and lift up our beauty. Misinformation and prejudice have no place in our shared vision of healing a broken world. In safe places, through education, frank discussion, and shared practices, we seek to build sustainable bridges. The harmonious culture we seek is one that is inclusive yet respectful of spiritual traditions.

WHAT WE DO

IRT provides a wide range of programs. Together they have the object of seeding spiritual conversations that clarify commonalities and empower people to work for the greater good. Congregations, leaders and members are enabled to grow a more peaceful, harmonious and friendly world. We intend to help people and congregations do things for which they may lack resources.
