In our IRT mission statement, we say, “The Interfaith Round Table of Washtenaw County is a spiritually based alliance of people from across the spectrum of faith who come together to address our commonalities and explore issues with the potential to be divisive.” How are we invited to hold space compassionately while discussing conversational or divisive topics? What best practices can guide us?
On the third Tuesday of each month, we hold our Day Forum. This is an invitation for community members to come together during the lunch hour for connection, friendship, and interfaith dialogue. In later months, we anticipate meeting in person, but for now, we will meet over Zoom.
