  • 2017 Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration

    This year’s Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration will be on Sunday evening, November 19th, at 7 pm at Beth Israel Congregation, 2000 Washtenaw, Ann Arbor. This year we will begin with an open house at 6 pm where we are invited to learn more about Beth Israel’s worship space and the Torah scrolls (doors open at 5:45). Then at 7 pm, join us as we give thanks with readings, music, meditations from a wide variety of faith traditions around the theme of “In Gratitude For Our Sacred Diversity.” Light refreshments following celebration. Donations accepted for non-perishable food or turkey money to help those in need in our community.

Beautifully made with references to hundreds of sacred holidays, they will serve as a good reminder of what other faith traditions are celebrating throughout the year.
